This tool is absolutely fantastic! Two years ago I adopted a cat from our local shelter. He has a lovely, sleek top coat but an unruly undercoat. When shedding season came around, I tried everything to help him manage his obviously itchy and uncomfortable coat. I used soft bristle and hard bristle cat brushes, my brush, a human comb and my hands/finger nails... all to no avail. I could not penetrate that sleek top coat to get to his unmanageable undercoat.

This tool is the ONLY thing that worked to help manage his undercoat shedding. Yes, the price can be a deterrent, but let me tell you - it is WELL worth it! If you have an animal with a sleek top coat and unruly undercoat, get this product! I simply cannot believe how much fur this thing removes... it's astounding! I brushed him for five minutes this morning and had several full handfuls of fur.

A noteworthy tidbit: when I first got him, he despised being brushed. He was ok with me petting him but wanted nothing to do with brushes. I was very persistent in my efforts to get him to like brushes, but it wasn't until I got this tool that he started to like brushing. At first, he protested just as he had with the other brushes, but I kept trying. One day I caught him just after a nap and brushed him with the FURminator. I could tell he didn't like it but he surrendered for a few minutes, which was all it took to get a TON of fur from his coat. He was a new cat after that! I could tell he felt better with the fur removed and he actually seemed happier. Ever since then, he's welcomed brushing... it's amazing!

WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL! WHAT A BLESSING this product have been for my Shih Tzu/Maltese, no more UGLY tear stains.

I ordered this product and it showed up OK but when I opened the box it was actually a 3 month supply. Amazon wanted me to return the pack of three to them and then they would send me a package of 6. I suggested that they should send me a package of 3 to make up the difference and the customer service person indicated that this simply could not be done and that I would have to return the 3 pack *at my own expense* and then they would send me a 6 pack. I asked if I could just get a partial refund. Again, this was unacceptable. So I had to return to them the 6 pack at my own expense. And I did that.

THEN... here's the kicker...

When the 3 pack that should have been a 6 pack got back to them, they informed me that I would have to take a full refund of the original purchase because they were OUT OF STOCK on Frontline in the weight class I needed.

So I had to wait for it to be credited back to my card. I'm still out of shipping BOTH WAYS and no frontline in hand.

I've used Frontline for years but this batch did not work on my cat. It must be a bad batch or the formula has changed. I called the customer service hotline and they told me I couldn't get a refund because I didn't have receipts that proved I had been using the product continuously for 90 days. I was told to keep using it for 2 more months while my house fills up with fleas. I've used it on my cat for years with small breaks over the winter but they would not believe me. Amazon backed the product and gave me a refund. I'll never buy Frontline or any other product from the company again.

I switched to Advantage some months ago and it really works for my cat. After internet shopping for a good price, I found that Amazon offered the best price. Needless to say, I pounced on it.

Frontline plus is the best product for dogs against fleas and ticks. Very easy to apply. I've been using it on my dog for a couple of years now and she has been free of any fleas or ticks (very critical since my dog is an in house dog).

We purchased 2 collars. Both dogs responded well to it after the first time we put it on them. We don't keep it on them all the time as it does tend to go off when the get excited and playing around. One of our dogs all we have to do is show her the collar and she stops barking.

I have a Maltese and have been amazed at how well this works! Within days of using this product his face was completely clean! No more "tear" stains!
